Fall Veggie CSA
I'm really excited to announce that we are extending our CSA program into the fall/winter!!!
We love everything about this CSA program, and know that some of our customers are ready for a longer season of vegetables. We don't have any control over the weather, and the seasons change regardless of our preparedness; however, over the years, I have learned (from some great growers) that we can provide delicious vegetables even through the winter.
How does the Fall Veggie CSA differ from your main season CSA?
The fall/winter CSA will operate more like a subscription service where you will join monthly. There is no automatic re-enrollment.
The November share will run the first 3 weeks of November.
The December share will run the first 3 weeks of December.

What risk is involved in joining the Fall Veggie CSA?
There is risk in joining any CSA program. Crop failures, pest infestations, natural disasters, and other unforeseen circumstances can make devastating impacts. By joining the CSA, you are joining us in our bounties and losses. We grow a wide variety of crops for insurance that when one crop fails, another provides a bumper crop.
We have created multiple short (monthly) programs to also minimize the risk. This allows us to assess the farm in real time and prevents us from over committing.
Last year, we had great success growing vegetables all the way through January. We have multiple unheated greenhouses that store cold hardy vegetables, and our coolers are stocked with delicious storage crops that have been harvested in October/November.

See below for our entire fall/winter growing list. Note that your share will likely not include all of the list as the CSA program only runs for 3 weeks/month. Some are only available in November, while others are saved for just December shares.

Where are the 2024 pick up locations for FALL CSA?
Wednesdays - Bellevue Farmers Market (Bayne Park) **NOTE: FARMERS MARKET IS CLOSED, BUT CSAs WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE AT BAYNE PARK ON WEDNESDAYS 4-6PM.
Thursdays - on farm pick up (Slate Lick, PA)
Saturdays - Butler City Farmers Market (209 S Chestnut St)
